How It Works

Kedocen models a living clinical mind—an adaptive system that simulates real patients and predicts how they evolve as you make decisions.

Workflow Overview

1. Select Your Mode

Choose between:

  • Adaptive Clinical State Predictive Engine — a live patient model that predicts how the case evolves as you intervene.
  • Elemental Medicine — foundational, first-principles learning through guided simulations.

2. The Patient State Initializes

A virtual patient is constructed with:

  • history and presentation
  • baseline vitals and physiology
  • organ-stress profiles and diagnostic weights
This forms the starting state of the case.

3. Take Clinical Actions

Start treatments, modify management, or ask for new data.
Every action — including wrong, dangerous, or unusual decisions — is processed through the engine.

The system then updates:

  • vitals
  • organ stress
  • differential weights
  • collapse probability
  • other physiologic trends
The patient adapts exactly as a real human body would.

4. The Engine Predicts the Next State

Your decision feeds into the Adaptive Clinical State Predictive Engine, which:

  • analyzes your action
  • recalculates physiologic trajectories
  • generates new findings, labs, and consequences
  • reveals the next probable patient state
This creates a loop of action → physiologic response → new state.

5. Investigations Emerge Dynamically

Labs, imaging, and reports are generated in real time based on:

  • your diagnostic path
  • the evolving physiology
  • the case's underlying disease process
Each result is medically accurate and context-aware. Featured in the Elemental Medicine module.

6. Case Completion & Deep Review

When the scenario resolves, you receive:

  • a structured summary of your reasoning
  • analysis of what helped or harmed the patient
  • key physiologic turning points
  • missed patterns
  • the true pathophysiology behind the case
This builds long-term diagnostic intuition, not just short-term scores.
